Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni

The Olympic Mascots (Bei-Bei, Jing-Jing, Huan-Huan, Ying-Ying and Ni-Ni) are 5 "fuwas" that represent the 5 Olympic Rings and the 5 elements of nature through the images of the 5 most commun animals in China (the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow); they are kids, brothers and sisters and they will be in every corner during these Games bringing their message of hope and good luck for everyone. Puting their names together, it says Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni: Welcome to Beijing!

Las Mascotas de los Juegos Olimpicos (Bei-Bei, Jing-Jing, Huan-Huan, Ying-Ying y Ni-Ni) son 5 "fuwas" que representan los 5 aros olimpicos y los 5 elementos de la naturaleza a traves de la imagen de los 5 animales mas comunes en China (el pez, el panda, el antilope tibetano y la golondrina); son ninos llenos de risa e inocencia, hermanos y hermanas que estaran presentes en cada esquina durante los Juegos Olimpicos y traeran consigo ese mensaje de esperanza y buena suerte para todos. Si ponemos sus nombres justos dice Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni: Bienvenidos a Beijing!

Poznan Cup 2008

Last week it was held Poznań Cup 2008 at the POSiR complex in Poznań (Poland). As I happen to live in Poland, I couldn't miss this event since I have joined several synchro events in Poland since I am here, nevertheless, lately I have always been out of the country when they took place. It was a good chance to see a new generation of swimmers from Russia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Poland, of course; Juniors and Seniors jumped on the water to do their best and I believe that, for those that are getting ready for later events, it was a great opportunity to measure what they have achieved so far.
La semana pasada se celebro el Poznań Cup 2008 en el centro deportivo POSiR de Poznań (Polonia). Como yo vivo en Polonia, no pude evitar asistir a este evento ya que yo he asistido a varios eventos de Nado Sincronizado en Polonia desde que vivo aqui, de todos modos, no habia podido asistir a los ultimos eventos porque siempre son en periodos en que yo estoy fuera del pais. Fue una buena oportunidad de ver una nueva generacion de atletas de Rusia, Bulgaria, la Republica Checa y Polonia, por supuesto; Juniors y Seniors saltaron al agua para hacerlo lo mejor que pudieron y estoy seguro que, para aquellas que se estan preparando para futuros eventos, esta fue una gran oportunidad de medir lo que han alcanzado hasta ahora.
