Kenyon Smith

Kenyon Smith, a member of the Santa Clara Aquamaids Synchronized Swimming Club, continues the history that other men began, being one of the few men in the world that takes part in Synchronized Swimming events. I remember that once Chris Carver (SCA Head Coach) said that having men in synchro adds a new dimension to this sport and I do totally agree with her and I believe that most of the world would. I have been fortunate enough to judge routines where men are on the water and it is true that it is something else: I saw James Bond 007 combo with Bill May being James Bond (USA at Swiss Open 2002) and what sense would have had the whole thing without him?) and Kenyon being the Faraon among 7 Queens and the Phantom of the Opera's combo (SCA at Synchro Rome 2006), what would be the whole sense without them on the water? the same routines can be swam by girls but what the presence of one men on it meant, gives to the whole things this "something else" that I hope will keep us waiting for me and will keep creators busy looking for new ideas :)
Kenyon Smith, miembro del Club de Nado Sincronizado Santa Clara Aquamaids, continua escribiendo la historia que otros hombres comenzaron, siendo uno de los pocos nadadores que toma parte en competencias de Nado Sincronizado. Yo recuerdo que una vez Chris Carver (Entrenadora Principal) dijo que permitiendole a los hombres participar en competencias de Nado Sincronizado le da agrega una nueva dimension a este deporte y yo estoy totalmente de acuerdo con ella y creo que la muchos tambien estaran de acuerdo. He tenido la suerte de calificar rutinas donde tambien nadan hombres y es que realmente es algo diferente: Yo vi el Combo de James Bond 007 con Bill May como James Bond (EEUU en el Abierto de Suiza 2002), Kenyon como el Faraon junto a sus 7 Reinas y el Combo del Fantasma de la Opera (Santa Clara Aquamaids en el Synchro Rome 2006), cual seria el sentido de esas rutinas sin ellos en el agua? la misma rutina la pueden nadar 8 nadadoras pero la presencia de ellos les dio a la rutina "algo mas" que yo espero seguir viendo y espero que mantenga ocupado a los creadores de rutinas buscando nuevas ideas :)
